When it comes to healthcare facilities, it’s always important for Owners to think about the future. Coffman designed this building to house an emergency department and other medical facilities on the first floor, while including shell and core spaces for future medical office areas on the second and third floors. This kind of forward thinking helps clients like Swedish save big on design and construction when it comes to future expansions.
The $30M Swedish Mill Creek building covers 86,500 sf, and houses an array of features, including a 24-hour Emergency Department with 18 exam rooms, an advanced diagnostic imaging center, on-site laboratory services, primary care and specialty care offices, and rehabilitation services.
