Principal, Energy & Sustainability
Tony has more than 23 years of experience in Alaska’s Project Management, Engineering, and Construction Industry. He is currently the manager of Coffman’s Corporate Energy and Sustainability Program. Throughout his career, Tony has been Principal in Charge, Team Lead, Project Manager, Project Engineer, Discipline Engineer, Construction Manager, and Field Engineer. He has worked on projects of all types and sizes including 200-million-dollar airport facilities, billion dollar industrial facilities on the North slope, large coal fired power plants, diesel microgrids, district heating, schools, maintenance facilities, wind turbines (both large and small), and solar and biomass projects. Tony is intimately involved with industrial and electrical utility projects as well as sustainable design and energy projects in Alaska. He has worked on numerous energy and industrial projects that have required integration with existing operational gas, electrical, and piping systems. Tony has also worked on feasibility studies for large and small projects for BP and Alyeska Pipeline Service Corporation as well as remote school districts, native corporations, and utilities. He places great emphasis on completing designs and project execution that has a low life cycle cost, is easy to operate, fit for purpose, and provides the appropriate solution for the client.
