Principal, Mechanical Engineer
Michel Sotura is a principal mechanical engineer in Coffman's Seattle office. He joined Coffman in 2005 as a Senior Project Manager and became the Department Manager in 2008, bringing more than 20 years of HVAC engineering experience to the department. Michel's services include mechanical engineering design for integrated systems, low energy, and high performance building design for healthcare, industrial, commercial, and higher education projects. His expertise includes the design of complex HVAC, gas systems, and central plants. Michel also focuses on incorporating practical, energy efficient, and sustainable design into all of his projects.
Michel has specialized in the project management of medium and large industrial projects for a major Aerospace company in the Northwest. He has leveraged Coffman's multidiscipline capabilities and helped develop the Coffman team as a trusted engineering supplier for aircraft hangar design, aircraft production line upgrades, aircraft paint booths, industrial heating and cooling plant upgrades, compressed air plant and compressed distribution systems.
