Allison Hazen, Tyler Doil, and Joe Dews — celebrated engineers in Seattle, San Diego, and Bozeman — join 45 principals company wide.

Allison Hazen, PE manages the civil department in Coffman’s Seattle office and joined the company in 2015. She has more than 18 years of experience and is an accomplished civil engineer in site investigations, ADA evaluations and design, grading, stormwater analysis, system design, utility design and upgrades, zoning entitlements, permit procurements, and construction assistance. Allison has embraced Coffman’s collaborative culture by actively partnering with other offices on multidiscipline projects while growing the civil department and developing strategic client relationships in Seattle. Her recent work includes project management for Boeing NW region projects and federal work. With her extensive background in ADA, she partnered with Central Washington University to develop an ADA upgrade program, perform a campus-wide survey, and generated an ADA transition plan.

Joe Dews, PE, DBIA manages the electrical department in Coffman’s San Diego office. He joined the company in 2016 and has been developing the electrical department which has gained traction in the market. With more than 15 years of experience as an electrical engineer, Joe has developed a passion for emerging markets. He has grown the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) portfolio at Coffman, and completed seven BESS projects with multiple engineering disciplines. He actively pursues business development opportunities through organizational involvement with the local and national chapters of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) and other professional organizations.

Tyler Doil, PE, NACE CP manages Coffman’s corrosion control engineering services in the contiguous states. Tyler started his career with Coffman in 2006 in the Anchorage office and moved to the Bozeman office in 2015. Over the past 11 years, Tyler has been instrumental in developing relationships with clients throughout the rocky mountain region. He has experience in multiple areas of corrosion control and mechanical integrity including cathodic protection, internal corrosion, protective coatings, AC interference, and direct assessments of various assets including pipelines, facility piping, storage tanks, and marine structures. Tyler is a registered professional engineer and certified as a NACE cathodic protection specialist and internal corrosion technologist.
