Coffman is pleased to welcome Senior Discipline Engineer, Jami S. Hirota, PE, LSIT, LEED BD+C to the Honolulu civil engineering department.
The addition of Ms. Hirota reflects the company's intent to grow the Honolulu office with experienced individuals who are deeply rooted in the local community. Ms. Hirota has served as a leader in the civil engineering and land surveying industry in Hawaii for the past 21 years. She will continue to offer civil engineering and project management services at Coffman.
Ms. Hirota has more than 23 years of experience in civil engineering and land surveying. She has significant experience managing Department of Defense (DoD), commercial, state, and county projects from the initial proposal through completion. Her experience also includes managing a staff of engineers and surveyors, contract review, business development, and project management at her previous firm.
“I’m excited to join the Coffman team after working with their engineers on projects for many years. I’m looking forward to continuing to serve our clients and projects with greater efficiency and additional capabilities,” said Ms. Hirota.
Ms. Hirota joins four other engineers in the civil/structural department in Coffman’s Honolulu office. The multidiscipline office located in downtown Honolulu has 45 engineers and support staff providing civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection engineering.
