Coffman Engineers was pleased to announce the opening of our new office in the Denver metropolitan area.

Coffman was pleased to announce the opening of our new office in the Denver metropolitan area.

Opening the Denver office stemmed from the need to be geographically accessible to current clients and the growing oil and gas opportunities in the Intermountain Western US. In addition to serving local oil and gas clients, the office is pursuing opportunities in all of Coffman’s market sectors including private and public work. The Denver office is supported by Coffman’s full multidiscipline engineering capabilities.

“I am extremely happy to open the doors to Coffman’s new Denver office. Our Denver location allows us to better serve current and new clients in the region with a talented team of local engineers. We are excited to join the Denver community,” said Jeff Gries, PE, Coffman’s vice president of oil, gas, and petrochemical services and the managing principal of the Denver office.

The new office is led by operations manager Kyle Cheesbrough, PE. Kyle was born and raised in the region and is returning home after 11 years in Anchorage, Alaska. Kyle is a senior civil engineer, and has worked in Coffman’s Anchorage office on oil and gas projects, for the past eight years. His leadership, technical expertise, and familiarity with the Denver region were pivotal in the decision to have him lead the office in Denver.

Joining Kyle to support the Denver office is senior structural engineer Sean Lamb, PE, and senior mechanical engineer Logan Tucker, PE. Sean and Logan both relocated to Denver from Coffman’s Anchorage office.

“Kyle, Sean, and Logan are each exceptionally talented engineers and project managers and have supported significant oil and gas projects as teammates. I couldn’t be more excited about this team,” said Gries.

The combined team offers clients multidiscipline engineering and project management services with experience in upstream, midstream, and downstream infrastructure design and integrity maintenance/management for a wide variety of oil and gas clients. The team also has experience in water transmission and distribution, wastewater collection system rehabilitation, power generation facility design and maintenance, alternative energy and sustainability, as well as offering a broad range of engineering services for private and public clients.

Coffman is excited to join the Denver community and leverage our unique engineering capabilities in the Rocky Mountain region.
