Built on a strong history, this Kern County community hospital had a modest beginning in 1910, but has since grown meeting many great achievements and expanding their facility to provide state-of-the-art services. To meet their growing demand, Coffman’s robust healthcare and structural design experience provided support for a new waiting room expansion designed to meet the latest state seismic requirements.
Miss Margaret Quinn and Miss Mary O’Donnell opened SJCH on Oct 6, 1910. Since then, the hospital has earned great distinction for their Nationally Certified Stroke and Burn Centers and other specialized departments. Coffman is proud to have served SJCH on several projects to support their growth.
